We are a family oriented nursery, we sell to the wholesale and retail trade. We've been in business since 1958. We are open from March till December 24th. We offer landscaping services, we also grow our own sod and some of our own nursery stock in our farms in NJ. We are a complete garden center. We also work with different organizations for their fundraisers.
Our nursery was built in 1958. The owner now has worked at Hillside since 1968, he had a dream to own Hillside one day and in 1980 that dream became a reality. He always wanted to stay old fashioned with the running of the nursery. He wanted to run it the same way it was when he first started working there. He wanted to maintain the loyalty to the customers and provide them with a family oriented service. Of course we have to change with the times and have a wider variety of products that we didn't have back then, but we still give that personalized service.
