The business was started in 1971 by Donald Kaeser and Dan Kortan as
D and K Electric. It began as side jobs which consisted of primarily residential work. In 1974,Donald branched out on his own and changed to the company name to Donald J. Kaeser Electric. At this time Don's wife, Patricia, became involved in Business (until her untimely death in 2002). Don and the business was Joined by sons Chris and Jim in 1984, while the boys were in high school. At this time the business not only continued with their residential work, but added "lite" commercial work to their docket. Then, in 1997, the business title was changed to what it is today...Kaeser Electric Inc.. The offices were also moved from the Kaeser's home in Springfield, PA to its present locatin in Collingdale, PA. They also began doing "major" commerical work at this time as well. In 2000, the business welcomed a third son, Shawn, who currently runs the office!
